Immediately following graduation, I began interning at the Cinematic Syndicate, a small media production company located in Santa Cruz where I was able to experience different aspects of multi-media production from meeting with clients to conceptualization, writing contracts, filming, editing, motion graphics, web design, social networking as well as promotional and business management work.
Following my interest in TV broadcasting, I began interning at Community Television of Santa Cruz where I was able to assist with all facets of studio and field productions, from camera work, audio, lighting, sports re-play, editing, writing and directing studio shows and government meetings to helping shoot multi-camera community and cultural events as well as operating remote-cams for government meetings. At the same time I also began assisting CreaTV in San Jose and occasionally CMAP in Gilroy with their productions. I have also worked with Workaday Media and Gadgetbox Recording Studio in producing short educational and promotional videos. More recently I have been assisting with sports broadcasting for Fox and ESPN as well as operating graphics for the Santa Cruz Warriors. Currently I am employed at Community Media Access Partnership (CMAP) in Gilroy, CA as a Production Crewperson.
I enjoy doing a wide variety of work and am excited to continue working in video and TV Broadcasting.
When I'm not staring at a screen I enjoy cooking, hiking, traveling and taking way too many photos (mostly of my cats).
